I’ll give you direction when you need it, but I’m not about staging fake moments. My style is to let things unfold naturally, then frame and edit them in a way that feels documentary & cinematic. It’s about keeping the honesty of the day while still making it look beautiful.
Sound is half the experience. That’s why I pay just as much attention to it as I do the visuals. The way your dad’s voice cracked in his speech, or the cheer when you walk back down the aisle - those details matter. The music will set the tone, but it's the little audio snippets that seemed small at the time that will make you cry when you watch this back on your 30th anniversary.
